Yet another astonishing collection from the king of abrasion.Charles Bukowski spares no one - especially himself - in his trademark honesty. Reading Bukowski feels like rubbing my ego with 40 grit sandpaper. Yet his volumes of poetry - and this is no exception - are compulsive page turners. He remains the only poet whose books I read cover to cover, in order, and sometimes at a single sitting. Brilliant writing. Recommended without reservation.
